About the organization

Established in 1993, I-India is a fully registered non-profit organization located in the capital city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. With a dedicated commitment to advancing child rights and assisting the most vulnerable individuals for over three decades, we have positively impacted the lives of over a million children and their families through our comprehensive and diverse interventions expanded in streets, slums and  rural areas of Jaipur.

Currently, we engage with more than 10000  children and families annually through our schools for street children, medical units, residential homes, and vocational training centers etc.
Our  organization focuses on providing support to children and communities facing immediate challenges such as homelessness, child labor, poverty, trafficking, malnutrition, illness, access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. In addition to addressing these pressing issues, we also work on nurturing their attitudes and skills, equipping them with better opportunities and the ability to shape their own futures.
Our overarching goal is to create a positive, lasting and sustainable impact on the lives of those we serve. We are committed to empowering children by protecting their rights, mainstreaming, linking them to NGO run formal education, providing healthcare, nutrition, vocational training, counsellinf services, access to employement opportunities and mentoring and long term emotional support.
More than an NGO, we are a strong and passionate family, united in the belief that every child deserves his/her fundamental rights and equal opportunities to develop and live upto the best potential.

Special features of the organization

The main objectives of the organizations are :

1.Protecting child labours, BPL children and children from the streets and rehabilitating them in main stream of life.

2.Providing them shelter/protection and care, Enrolment in formal schools run by NGO for their educational development.

3.Access to safe drinking water/personal hygiene and sanitation facilities, Vocational training/Economical Empowerment, Access to effective Health care/Life Skills, Counseling Emotional support and Guidance, Reintegration with the families, Job placement and mentoring as a part of after care.

Why should a corporate partner with organization?

We have nearly 30 years of experience and reliability working with local communities, mainly children, youth and women.

We were founded in the city of Jaipur and have expanded in remote settlements, rural area, slums, suburbs and village blocks to provide services throughout Jaipur district. Currently, the NGO is working in 2 rural blocks covering 20 villages and 20 slum/urban areas of Jaipur district.

Our networks extend even further nationally through implementation of Childline Emergency services, and we are in regular contact with other NGOs to forge new knowledge transfer partnerships to share best practices and build on our existing networks to unite our voices in tackling the issues our beneficiaries face.
